Welcome to

Cheers & Loud Company

We are a group of musicians, theatre-makers and writers organising theatre and music workshops for children aged between 7-18 years old. We have experience in teaching both on an individual and a group level. Our main aim is to give the opportunity to children and young people to explore their imagination and talents through self-expression and team-work.

This series of theatre and music workshops makes use of a diversity of techniques: interactive storytelling sessions, games and improvisation, work with costume and props, singing and playing instruments. Our main objective is to create a live, stimulating and engaging environment for children through the creative experience.

Based on improvisatory or written material, movement exercises, the development of characters and the use of mime and props, experimenting with voice and Orff instruments, children’s imaginative play aims at developing self-confidence, self-discipline, creative thought, enhancing perception, observation and concentration skills and the ability to interact and collaborate with others.

This program of workshops enables children to discover and explore their natural creativity under the guidance of experienced theatre artists/musicians and gain skills through participating and performing in a secure and fun environment.

This series of workshops is also designed to introduce participants to stimulating and playful theatre and music material and cultivate an awareness of all sides of performance. It is also dedicated to providing an excellent learning experience. Classes are quite small, and the three-hour session is uniquely structured so that children are inspired, challenged, educated and entertained, but also have the chance to work towards the realisation of a full scale theatrical and musical production.
